Ermoupolis, Syros
This beautiful neoclassical villa is set in a wooded hill-side location, with glorious views out to sea. The villa is wonderfully furnished and decorated, with accommodation over 3 levels.
The two upstairs bedrooms have a delightful terrace with seating and numerous plants in pots, while on the lower floor, the guest accommodation has its own dining area and bathroom, making it ideal for families holidaying with grandparents or older children who appreciate that little extra space and privacy.

SYROS VILLA FOR RENT
Villa 'Evridiki' (180 sq m) is built in the neoclassical style over three levels, in a village called Chroussa that is renowned for its traditional and historic houses. The large garden has many pine trees, which provide shade and a fun play area for children, a large covered balcony, verandas and outdoor barbecue and dining areas.
The house is full furnished, with picture and ornaments that provide a genuine homely feel. The livingroom has comfortable sofas a large fireplace and the family can gather around the large dining table for breakfast or evening meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher and cloths washing machine, and is decorated in rich blues with finishing touches that exudes quality and taste. Lastly, and to ensure that you have a truly relaxed holiday, the property is cleaned and the is linen replaced twice a week, inclusive within the rental price..
You are likely to spend around the large stone table, eating al fresco, talking into the evening while cooking in the large out-door oven.
And those terraces, with shaded areas and seating allow you to enjoy the wonderful sea vistas.

The downstairs guest room has an internal staircase down from the livingroom, and it also has its own entrance. With a small kitchen and dining areas, bathroom and 3/4 beds, it provides very useful accommodation for families who are holidaying together, yet want a little bit of separation.
SYROS TOURIST INFORMATION
Syros is the 'capital' of the Greek Cyclades islands, which includes the holy island of Tinos. The islands economy has traditionally been based on shipping, so the island provides a more complete holiday experience that those islands that have to rely on almost entirely on tourism.
The capital of Syros is Ermoupolis, and like the village of Chroussa where the villa is located, it has a wealth of neoclassical architecture, traditional tavernas, museums and beautiful Catholic and Greek Orthodox churches. The food is excellent and of course the staggeringly clear seas of the Cyclades can be enjoyed from beaches all around the island
Close proximity to other Cyclades islands including Tinos, Mykonos, Paros, Naxos, Ios and Santorini provide enjoyable trips to islands with very different characters over the course of the holiday.
The famous medieval traditional settlement on Syros provides marvellous views over the port of Ermoupolis, and is a very popular place to enjoy traditional Greek food.

How to get to Syros
The island airport has regular flights from Athens and is 10 minutes drive from the villa in Chroussa, where a hire car can be collected if required. The high-speed boats travel from Piraeus to Syros in two and a half hours (2,5hrs) with ships taking between three and a half to four hours (3,5 - 4hrs).Price
