Situated in the well appointed area of Guadalmina this beautiful 3 bedroom house offers a spacious retreat suitable for the everyone. It is set on the second line of one of the two excellent Guadalmina Golf courses. Ideal for family holidays, couples or sharing individuals and Golf enthusiasts alike. It has the advantage of being secluded while still being close to shops, restaurants, bars and many Golf Courses of the Costa Del Sol.
THE VILLA FOR RENT
The house boasts a beautiful hedge-lined garden, private swimming pool and drive. A large lounge/dining room gives ample space to move around freely. The open fire adds to the tranquil atmosphere of the house, especially during the winter months when the evenings can be a little chilly. An enclosed TV (approximately 24") is available with Sky TV, a VCR and DVD player.
A full sized kitchen includes, gas oven, a large, tall fridge as well as various appliances including microwave and a wooden breakfast/dinner table.
The integrated garage has additional fridge and freezer space (excellent for all those cold drinks and ice creams in the summer!) and a freezer and at the back of the garage in the utility area is the washing machine, tumble dryer and adjacent sink. Adjoining the lounge/dining room is the patio offering a choice of enclosed and seating with coffee table, an outdoor dining table and the essential BBQ.
The patio overlooks the garden with its Palm Trees and also directly overlooks the Swimming Pool.
RENTAL ACCOMMODATION (3 bedrooms, sleeps 6)
The house contains three good sized bedrooms, suitable for sleeping 6 but a single folding 'Z' bed is also available if required. One double room with en-suite on the ground floor (superb for those shy of stairs).
The two twin rooms, one with a small balcony, on the first floor have a large family bathroom. Each bedroom has two double built in wardrobes with drawers/shelves. Bathrooms have bath and shower, toilet, bidet and sink units with underneath cupboards. There is a guest WC on the ground floor.
COSTA DEL SOL TOURIST INFORMATION
Guadalmina is situated close to a local supermarket, SuperSol, a short 10 minute walk with bakery for fresh bread and pastries and a meat counter. A variety of restaurants and shops are located nearby.
The world famous harbour of Puerto Banus is just 10 minutes down the road providing numerous shops, bars, clubs and restaurants. Puerto Banus is a popular destination for the rich and famous so expect to visit shops such as Prada, Louis Vuitton, Dolce and Gabbana and Versace amongst others. However, the port offers many affordable places to eat such as the very popular Picasso's Pizzeria and Creperie. The world famous bars of Sinatra's and Linekar's offer an excellent and invigorating place to have a leisurely drink whilst looking over some of the multi-million pound yachts in the Marina (definitely worth a look!). A cinema is also located within Puerto Banus, which during the summer months has some films in English.
A 3 minute walk from Puerto Banus you find a shopping centre, Marina Banus, which has a wide variety of shops for everyone as well as a childrens' play park. The enormous El Corte Ingles, a superior department store, contains a large supermarket with bakery, meat and fish counters, and a good Tapas Bar amongst other things. If shopping is one of your favourite pastimes then La Canada is not to be missed either. This shopping centre contains a large number of shops as well as many places to eat or simply have coffee.
Marbella is a popular town with a beach, especially among the famous, about a 20 minute drive away where you can find yet more shops as well as many lovely little coffee shops, bars and restaurants. The old town of Marbella still has the small cobbled stone streets with small shops and the picturesque Orange Square located at its heart. Horse drawn carriages in the town offer romantic and memory-filling tours of Marbella.
San Pedro, about five to ten minutes away, is a typical, small Spanish town where many fiestas and festivals are held throughout the year. The High Street has been recently pedestrianised and affords a wonderful walking space where you can sit and enjoy coffee in the bars or restaurants or visit small shops and boutiques.
The beach is close to the house, where the activities include jet skiing, water skiing and paddle boating. On the Guadalmina estate there is a water skiing lake and several riding stables to enjoy the beautiful Andalusian country side.
The Costa Del Sol provides many available activities all within at most a few hours drive of the house. There is Gibraltar where you can see the beautiful historic rock. Two Aquaparks are located between Guadalmina and Malaga, one in Mijas and one in Torremolinos, said to be the largest Aquapark in Europe with rides including Rapids, Kamikazee Twister and a Wave Pool. A baby water play area is available as well as Crazy Golf and plenty of space to sunbathe. Funny Beach is a great place for kids, both young and old. Located just the other side of Marbella on the beach it offers activities of Go-Karting, Jet Skiing, Trampolining and many others.
An Amusement and Show Park, Tivoli World is located in Benalmadena (about a 30 minute drive) which has various Musicals and Shows, over 40 rides including a new free fall tower. Selwo Marina is also located in Benalmadena and is home to many exotic species including Dolphins, Sea Lions and Sharks. See the Dolphins and Seal Lions perform in a Show whilst discovering many species of the deep. In Estepona, there is Selwo Safari which is excellent fun for everyone. It covers over 500 hectares and is home to over 2,500 animals. Animals are not kept in cages but in open environments. Safari lorries transport you to the five sections of the park where you can see many of these animals in these environments. But if you are feeling fit, it is also possible to take a walk from one section to another across the Andalusian terrain.
Going further afield is some of the most visited tourist places, towns and cities. The historic Roman town of Rhonda set atop a mountain is about one hour drive away. Rhonda still has the ancient Bull Ring and enormous Gorge. The Alhambra Palace is one of the most visited sites in Spain and is about a 3 hour drive away (definitely 2+ hours).

How to get here
Guadalmina is situated more or less equidistant between Malaga Airport and Gibraltar Airport, each taking approximately 45 minutes.
It is very easy to hire a car from either airport with the majority of car hire companies. We generally use a small and friendly local company, who meet from both Gibraltar and Malaga (we are very happy to provide contact details).
