The villa is located in splendid wine country near Venice, surrounded of vineyards located in an area well known for sparkling Prosecco wine production. The property is a working vineyard (an agritourismo - working farm holiday) so you will have an opportunity to sample the excellent sparkling wines produced by the owners, and maybe even participate in the harvest or enjoy the first tastings of the new wine, depending on the season of your visit.
This area to the North of Venice is set in the foothills of the Dolomites, which in turn run into the Alps. Glorious walking, horse riding and cycling country, with plenty to do for visitors of all degrees of fitness, with the satisfying knowledge that a good meal awaits you at the end of the day. Golf courses are also nearby.
Naturally, a visit to the arts wonder of Venice must be included, but you should also not miss the opportunity to explore the smaller and less famous towns or the region, including Treviso, Asolo and Conegliano.
VILLA FOR RENT
The rental accommodation is in an old building that can be dated back to the 1700's. Recently restored, it is now furnished with antiques and offers spacious and relaxing holiday accommodation. The rooms are arranged over three floors and are of large proportions (300 sq m), so there is plenty of space for the family. Stone floors, heavily timbered ceilings and large fireplace create a welcoming atmosphere in the living area, with a large dining areas for family meals.
Large gardens make this a perfect place for a family holiday, with spectacular views over the valley and a private swimming pool that the children can enjoy throughout the day and barbecue facilities means that you can enjoy your lunch or evening meal al fresco.

- 1 suite (or a quadruple room) with a private bathroom and Jacuzzi
VENICE TOURIST INFORMATION
The villa is situated 45 km (29 miles) to the North of Venice in the village of San Pietro and near the towns of Treviso, Asolo and Conegliano. Walking tours and horse riding are all on offer and the villa owners are always delighted to organise tours on request, including guided tours of Venice.
This area of Italy is know for local people's love of food and wines and also for their taste for the original Italian life style. This is a region surrounded by good food, wines and art treasures.
Cooking courses and wine tasting
The owners are delighted when asked to arrange cooking classes at one of the local restaurants, or wine tasting which can include the estates wines, as the villa is an agriturismo with a working vineyard.
It summary, this is a wonderful holiday place with so much to see and do, yet has a relaxed and warm atmosphere.
